Tetra Pak Demonstrates Leadership with "Innovation for Growth" at Gulfood Manufacturing 2014
Tetra Pak will showcase its industry leadership and core focus on innovation as a key partner of Gulfood Manufacturing 2014. The inaugural trade exhibition is a sector-specific spinoff of Gulfood, the world’s biggest annual food and hospitality trade platform, and brings together the manufacturing, processing, packaging and ingredients industries.
Under the theme “Innovation for Growth” Tetra Pak will highlight the breadth and depth of solutions the company delivers to meet customers’ challenges and needs. Segmented into the four areas identified as critical for most processing and packaging customers in the region, Tetra Pak will demonstrate innovative approaches that help to increase revenues, manage costs, reduce risk across the value chain, and build brand equity.

The Greater Middle East & Africa region is one of the biggest markets globally for Tetra Pak, with significant business potential both for the company and its customers. It is also one of the key factors behind Tetra Pak’s role at Gulfood Manufacturing as sponsor of the official Hosted Buyer Programme that will facilitate the attendance at the show of more than 2,000 customers and influential industry professionals – the single biggest programme ever to be conducted in the region.

The stand will also demonstrate how Tetra Pak, works relentlessly to understand the challenges, find solutions, fulfill the needs and bring concrete results to those operating in today’s constantly evolving food processing and packaging industry. Tetra Pak delivers close to 30 billion packages a year to leading food companies in the Greater Middle East and Africa region, primarily in the dairy and fruit juice product categories.
Gulfood Manufacturing has been chosen as the launch pad for a new Tetra Pak packaging solution for one of the company’s key customers in the regional dairy sector, demonstrating the region’s receptivity to and early adoption of the latest evolutions in the food processing and packaging industry. The Tetra Pak showcase area will be located in the Hosted Buyers’ Lounge, in Zabeel Hall at the World Trade Exhibition Centre from 9-10 November (10am-6pm) and on 11 November 2014 (10am-5pm).
