The New Nita Shellshock SCS Labeling Machine Will Be in Vegas
This machine Screams efficiency and sustainability as it will never lose a label or container, every set-up recipe is memorized in the easy-to-use touch screen controller.
6/24/2011 --- The solution is for an under-tucked label application is here. The All New ShellShock SCS will be featured at Pack Expo 2011 in October 2011.
This labeling system is aimed at anyone who ever needed to shrink wrap or band their containers, clamshell, tub, Genpak or any other container that requires a sealed lid.
The unique twist to this product is that it allows the use of a graphic-rich primary label, designed with its complete list of ingredients, logo, artwork, bar code etc. adding to a great container.
In the past, sealing a lid, needed to go through a heat tunnel and could get very messy when a jam occurred or temperature was too hot!
This way, the conveyor maintains a fluid throughput having a long label war around the entire containers from bottom to front, top, back and under again…all in one fell swoop!
The secret is using the revolutionary Servo closing system, a series of small tentacle-like arms with smooth foam rollers which are completely synchronized with the containers’ travel.
With a linear speed of 120 feet per minute, the throughput can allow up to 65 products per minute depending on container size. The beauty is that the label is truly applied in complete synchronization with the container travel ensuring a perfect, gorgeous, tamper evident application on both sides of the container’s lid.
This machine Screams efficiency and sustainability as it will never lose a label or container, every set-up recipe is memorized in the easy-to-use touch screen controller. Moreover, the small foot print of 5 feet long allows accessibility for every bakers, meat and poultry processor as well as confectionary and nuts converter with limited floor space.
