06/10/06 RPC Bebo Nederland has launched its latest innovation in ready meal packaging, which allows consumers to safely remove meals from the microwave without burning their hands.
Re 228 and Re 171 Comfort are polypropylene trays with built-in notches on either side. Designed and patented by RPC Bebo Nederland, the notches are ergonomically placed to ensure ease of handling during preparation.
The trays are fully microwaveable, freezable, automatically sealable and 100% food approved. Single and multi-compartment options are available to suit a wide variety of ready meal types.
Based on commonly used tray dimensions, including RPC Bebo Nederland’s popular 228 tray, industrial fillers have no need to adjust their filling lines. This advantage continues in the supermarkets, meaning it is not necessary to change the current shelf layout.
