Thor range has plenty of sauce

RPC Blackburn’s Thor range of tamper-evident polypropylene pots has been selected by Geest for a range of Fresh Chilled Sauces. The pots were selected by Geest in response to consumer research, which identified them as a strongly recognisable packaging format for these types of products. “The fresh sauces market currently offers a lot of potential for growth and development,” explains Michelle Bailey, Senior Buyer at Geest. “We chose the RPC Thor pot because we felt it gave us a practical and user-friendly pack.” The Thor pot is available in eight sizes from 180ml to 1150ml, with a wide choice of decoration options. The pots for Geest feature highly decorated labels, which are applied by RPC immediately after moulding to create an all-over decoration effect. A simple tab, which must be broken to gain access to the pack, provides effective tamper-evidence. The pots offer good stability and can be stacked three high to maximise shelf space. For the consumer they are easy to handle and can be microwaved and resealed. “This important order is further evidence of Thor’s versatility and suitability for all types of food products,” comments Sean Dyer, RPC Blackburn’s Sales and Marketing Manager.
