Thunderbird bread slicers are available from Petra Equipment. Weighing 80 kg, they work with gravity. Bread is simply fed by an inclined delivery chute, through the knives and to the receiving area ready to be bagged.
The blades are made of stainless steel and are not adjustable. It should be noted that these bread slicers are not designed to cut hard crusty breads.
Thunderbird bread slicers have a slice thickness of 14mm and they run on a single phase power supply of 10 amp, 1/3 hp. Their dimensions are 740mm X 630mm X 740mm.
