A standing pouch is a bag-type container that uses laminated film. The pouch is able to stand by itself because the base section opens out when the pouch is filled with its contents. Standing pouches are widely used as refill packaging in the toiletries sector in particular.
Sosogi Jozu is a standing pouch which enables smooth refilling because the spout section does not close up easily. Using Toppan Printing’ s original bag making technologies, it has been possible to develop a new spout structure in which the top part of the pouch is not sealed but folded back on itself. Since there is no sealed section at the top of the spout, the width of the spout can be increased and the spout can be made into a shape that opens out naturally when the pouch is opened. This means that time required to pour out the contents is roughly 20% less than with conventional standing pouches and ease of pouring has been significantly improved. In addition, ease of opening has been enhanced by improving the shape of the spout.
This product will be displayed in the Toppan booth at Tokyo Pack 2012, which will be held at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition center from Tuesday October 2 to Friday October 5, 2012.
