Vaassen Produces Easy-to-Open Lid for Luxury Gü Dessert

Oct 1 2010 --- Leading European aluminium foil packaging specialists Vaassen Flexible Packaging has created a special easy-peel lid for sealing to glass containers.

Vaassen has created a new uniquely designed aluminium laminate lid for a range of premium desserts produced by Gü. The luxury chocolate dessert maker has become extremely popular across the globe since its launch in 2003 and it is now estimated that a Gü dessert is eaten somewhere in the world every two seconds.

Vaassen Flexible Packaging was commissioned by Gü to create an all-new exciting silver foil lid with one-colour black printing to deliver the highest preservation protection features alongside easy opening capabilities.

Vaassen, renowned for its product/process expertise and innovation skills, developed a tailor-made solution for Gü’s consideration. The result, which reflects Gü’s luxury products, is a specially engineered aluminium base lid with HDPE sealant creating an easy-peel lid in a highly attractive finish.
