Venus Wafers Launches New CaPeachio’s Specialty Crackers Packaging
Venus Wafers has announced they will be launching the New CaPeachio’s Specialty Crackers Packaging at the 2014 New York Fancy Food Show. Venus has received authority from the Non-GMO Project to display their seal of approval on the new CaPeachio’s Specialty Crackers.
Venus Wafers has announced they will be launching the New CaPeachio’s Specialty Crackers Packaging at the 2014 New York Fancy Food Show. Venus has received authority from the Non-GMO Project to display their seal of approval on the new CaPeachio’s Specialty Crackers. The CaPeachio’s Specialty Crackers will have the following flavors available: Original Water, Peppercorn & Poppy, Natural Butter Flavor, Multigrain Wheat, Vegetable Medley, and a Specialty Cracker Assortment. The Non-GMO Project offers North America’s only independent verification for products made according to best practices for GMO avoidance.
GMO’s (Genetically Modified Organisms) have been linked to potential harmful affects to health and the environment. “We are committed to this issue and we believe people have the right to know what they are eating.” said Venus Wafers National Sales Manager, James Anderko. Anderko went on to say, “the addition of Non-GMO Project seal of approval on our Mariner, Nejaime’s Lavasch, Venus 8 Grain, and Haute Cuisine brands was well received and we are committed to being a Non-GMO commercial bakery.
CaPeachio’s Specialty Crackers have also been verified Vegan by the Vegan Action/Vegan Awareness Foundation and certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union. The new packaging will carry both of these symbols as well.
