18/12/07 Veuve Clicquot does not believe in the ¼ bottle format anymore. With the launch of Yellowboan, a limited edition 3L bottle, Cécile Bonnefond, president of the company, has declared that the company prefers the big formats over the smaller ones.
“We are going to stop the ¼ bottle production despite the Paint Box’s success, despite its modern presentation and despite the fact that we’ll have to look for a new way to attract customers. However, we think this format does not provide the best valorisation of the product. A lower quality could harm our reputation. On the other hand, we are present in nightlife and parties, where the big format is very attractive aesthetically and very demanded when we organise promotions in beaches like in Italy, Florida, California, Greece and Great Britain... or in refined and elegant parties in targeted establishments in Saint-Tropez or Ile de Ré”.
