The new Philadelphia packaging range. The Philadelphia plastic tub range has recently been remodelled using the thin wall injection moulding process. VIP Packaging has worked together with Kraft Foods Limited to modernise the existing packaging to incorporate in-mould labelling.
The purpose of in-mould labelling is to enhance the visual and tactile appeal of a product, while the benefits of using this method of labelling include the following:
- Highly functional as label will not come off in any environment;and
- Lasting appearance as label will not fade.
The design of the lid has been modified to allow the lid to be more easily applied and removed. This allows for the product to be used multiple times and resealed hygienically.
The Philadelphia range of polypropylene in-mould labelled containers are branded with the SPI Code 5 and can therefore be recycled. For more information about the product range available from VIP Packaging please visit their website.
