Weener Presents New Jar Concept

Weener now offers three jar concepts that fulfil all demands on appearance and functionality.

2/4/2011 --- The packaging for luxurious care products usually consists of a glass exterior part and a separate interior portion. The goal in the development of the new Weener "Exclusive Jar" was to introduce a cost-effective alternative with significantly reduced wall thickness without entirely abandoning the optical impression so valued by the consumer. The new "Exclusive Jar" also offers diverse decorative possibilities. The outer part can, for example, be finished via embossing, printing and labelling, and the interior portion can be decorated with labels. And the matching lid offers additional design possibilities. The jar will initially be offered in a 50 ml size. Additional sizes can be added.

On a larger market, care products also show up in thick-walled jars without a separate interior part. In order to achieve the most attractive design, the glass jars are constructed with a low profile and a large diameter. The body of the jar has a somewhat larger diameter than the neck. Until recently this construction could not be duplicated in plastic processing. For the new "Crystal Jar" Weener has now developed a patented process that offers a solution in every aspect. This allows PET jars to be manufactured in the future without this major limitation. The new "Crystal Jar" is also initially available in a 50 ml size. Other sizes can be realised.
  
A third jar with inner jar is suitable for hair care products or body butter. The highly transparent outer jar is tapered looking extremely trendy. The spherical inner jar makes the system in polypropylene a real eye-catcher.  70 ml and 150 ml are the standard filling volumes, other sizes are available.
