West Liberty Foods is pleased to announce the introduction of their Peel & Reseal packaging system for their private label customers. This consumer-friendly packaging option can be opened and closed multiple times while maintaining its seal, and uses 33.7% less plastic than the leading grocery retail tray package and tubs.

The company, based in West Liberty, Iowa is adding the new packaging option to build sales for retailers targeting customers seeking high-quality and great value.
“Research has shown that resealable packaging is one of the consumer's top priorities,” says Michael Quint, Chief Customer Officer for West Liberty Foods. “Now retailers will be able to offer that convenience to customers with their private label sliced meat programs.”
The packaging will be available in a rectangle configuration with or without hang tab for fluffed deli meats or individually quick frozen products.
It will also be available in D-shaped configurations allowing for easy removal of meat slices without
tearing. Packages can be configured to hold from 7 to 16 ounces of product including turkey, chicken,
ham, roast beef, breakfast sausage, chicken strips, and beef strips.

The packaging can accommodate four-color print labeling in either horizontal or vertical orientation, providing retailers with an unmatched brand impact opportunity.
