Now comes the news that India’s most popular whisky, the Bagpiper brand, will be sold in Tetra Pak paper cartons. The 180 ml (around six ounces) size will be sold in a six-layer tamperproof container that will be priced cheaper in order to lure in more drinkers. The pack is not resealable. Makes me wonder if the little nip bottles on airplanes will soon be replaced by little paper packs. It would probably be lighter and cheaper but certainly less aesthetically pleasing.
