Zip-Pak to Showcase Innovative Solutions at Emballage 2010
The DoubleZip, the newest member of the Zip-Pak Press-to-Close family of resealable packaging technologies, provides complete bag closure for fresh foods such as cheese, deli meats, prepared foods with sauces and frozen foods.
Nov 4 2010 --- Zip-Pak, a global leader in helping consumer product companies build brands with resealable solutions, will showcase new products that deliver convenience to European markets at Stand # 6 C 101 at Emballage 2010, November 22-25 at Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in Paris, France. The company will showcase its innovative products, which include the Zip-Pak DoubleZip and the Zip-Pak Slider Advantage.
"At Zip-Pak, we are constantly asked why many products, such as meat and cheese, do not feature a resealable closure,” said Elizabeth Sheaffer, Marketing Manager at Zip-Pak. “With our new zipper profiles and packaging formats, we offer brand managers many ways to transition into more convenient packaging that meets consumer demand.”
The DoubleZip, the newest member of the Zip-Pak Press-to-Close family of resealable packaging technologies, provides complete bag closure for fresh foods such as cheese, deli meats, prepared foods with sauces and frozen foods. “Featuring two sets of interlocking profiles and added seal security to lock out air, the DoubleZip provides the consumer with confidence that their package will be sealed completely throughout multiple uses,” adds Sheaffer.
The company will also highlight the first commercial application of its Zip-Pak Slider Advantage, a smaller slider solution designed with less material to reduce manufacturing costs and decrease a package’s environmental footprint. A major meat manufacturer recently launched the smaller slider clip on its sliced bacon product. The new slider can also be used for sliced deli meat, cheese, snack and dry goods, frozen food and pet treat applications.
