British drinks manufacturer Silver Spring has announced a roll out of brand new packaging and refined flavours in a bid to transform their 1870 Mixer range.
Named after the year in which Silver Spring first started its production of Kentish spring water, 1870’s brand new logo and bottle design hopes to plant the mixers firmly in the twenty-first century.
Available in seven varieties, the newly launched 1870 range includes; Tonic Water, Tonic Water Light, Soda Water, Bitter Lemon, Lemonade, Lemonade Light and Ginger Ale.
The new look range of mixers remain true to their roots by using pure spring water – bottled at the source in Kent’s Garden of England.
To achieve a blend of flavours, Silver Spring have endeavoured to source natural ingredients from around the world.
From lemonade blended with Argentinian lemon oil, to crisp tonic created from Brazilian essential oils, 1870 mixers have all been blended using a range of ingredients to deliver on taste.
The range of seven variants can be enjoyed on their own as a drink, or as an accompaniment to alcohol.
Using colour coding for each variant, the new look bottles have been designed to enable easy selection for the consumer, with the flourishes and logo helping 1870 to stand out on shelf.
The bottle shape and appearance have been designed to reflect the brand’s position as one steeped in British heritage, as well as demonstrating the core values of authenticity.
Julian Aitken, Sales and Marketing Director, Silver Spring commented: “We thought long and hard about the design and appearance of the new 1870 bottles, to stay true to 1870’s heritage, whilst revolutionising the ingredients and updating the overall appearance of the product.
“We feel that this is exactly what has been achieved and are proud and excited to launch such a strong product”.
The 1870′s range has an RSP £0.89 for a 1Litre bottle.
