APLIX® presents EASY-LOCK

APLIX has announced that it will feature a new re-closable system for flexible packaging at PACK EXPO 2012 in Chicago from October 28 – 31, 2012 at booth number 8539 (Lakeside Upper).

APLIX has announced that it will feature a new re-closable system for flexible packaging at PACK EXPO 2012 in Chicago from October 28 – 31, 2012 at booth number 8539 (Lakeside Upper).  

EASY-LOCK by APLIX® is currently being used in cheese, dried fruit, pet food and other applications. 
EASY-LOCK by APLIX® is comprised of self-mating micro-hooks. The key advantages over other zip-closure designs are ease of use with less pressure to open/close as precise alignment is not required; enabling use by people with limited dexterity. In addition, the closure track is far more resistant to particles from the contents of the package. 

EASY-LOCK by APLIX® is made of food grade polyethylene. A consumer study in the UK found that 80 per cent of respondents felt EASY-LOCK by APLIX® was the easiest type of packaging for the whole family, including children and elderly people.
