Award for Kenzo Designed Packaging Made from Munken Board by Arctic Paper
With a newly developed laminated Munken range in a wide array of grammages Arctic Paper can now offer its customers the opportunity to use the same high quality for packaging and brochures alike.
24/02/07 The packaging for the new scent Flower by Kenzo, made from cardboard from the Arctic Paper Munken range has been awarded the top Golden Trophy Award in the Best Packaging category. The prize was awarded at the annual French graphic design fair Intergraphic Paris. This was the 27th consecutive annual fair for professionals in the printing and graphic design industries.
The Golden Trophy Awards were presented by Agfa along with a jury of industry specialists. In the Best Packaging category, the packaging for the perfume Flower by Kenzo was voted the winner. The packaging is made from and printed on Munken Print White 345 g/m2, a board in Arctic Paper’s Munken range. Munken Print White has a unique natural surface which was chosen to enhance the packaging’s natural, artistic feel.

The prize was awarded at a gala evening on 16 January involving some 900 graphic design industry professionals. Eleven other awards were also handed out at the event. Other categories included Most Innovative Investment, Best DM Campaign and Leader of the Year.
Intergraphic Paris ran from 16 to 18 January and is the biggest and most highly reputed annual French communication and printing fair, attended by key people in the industry. All in all there were 250 exhibitors at the fair presenting their products and services in areas such as graphic design software, repro, electronic publishing and digital printing.
