Cadbury unveils new Bournvita pack

Cadbury Nigeria Plc, the leading company in food drink market in Nigeria has further entrenched its leadership position in the food drink sector with the unveiling of the all-new world class packaging format: a rigid polypropylene jar for its flagship product-Cadbury Bournvita.

The launch of the new Bournvita identity which was held at the company’s corporate head office was marked with an elaborate celebration for the staff and the media.

Managing Director of the company, Mr. Alan Palmer, described the celebration of the new Bournvita identity as another remarkable milestone in the annals of the brand and indeed the company as a corporate entity.

“We in Cadbury Nigeria are proud to lead in this new state of the art packaging enhancement and fortified recipe, just as we have pioneered so many initiatives in the past that has been thoroughly enjoyed by our loyal consumers and other stakeholders. The new Cadbury Bournvita Jar makes the brand consumers’, first and favorite choice in the food drinks market. This clearly shows our true market leadership”, he said.

Palmer explained further that the launch of the new pack format is a continuation of the NON-STOP VITALITY positioning platform that was unveiled last year during the 50th Anniversary celebration of Bournvita in Nigeria.

“Indeed, here is an enriched product in a transformed pack for non-stop vitality. In the reshaped and reborn identity of Cadbury Bournvita today, we witness a whole new era that your brand has just pioneered in the Nigerian food drinks market”, he added.

Explaining the significance of the staff launch, Palmer said “Here in Cadbury Nigeria Plc, we value the contribution of our staff as a key stakeholder in the success story of the company just as we valued our Trade Partners which was why we started the celebration with the Trade launch yesterday”.

Also speaking at the event, Dele Anifowoshe, the Marketing Director, said “Cadbury Bournvita is set to change the game in the food drinks market with its revamped product recipe and new jar format. The new improved Cadbury Bournvita is fortified and enriched to deliver between 15-50percent of the essential vitamins and minerals needed for the growth and nourishment of children and adults who want total vitality on a day-to-day basis.”

The New Cadbury Bournvita comes in 450g jar and 900g jar, with a plastic cover that has an inner wad and a golden rim top foil seal. It is a world class, contemporary, attractive look and projects an inspiring self-expressive character that will further endear consumers to the brand, clearly distinguishing itself from other brands.
