CORPAK MedSystems, Inc. is pleased to announce the U.S. launch of its proprietary, patent pending CORGRIP™ feeding tube retention system. CORGRIP is a retention system specifically designed for nasogastric (NG) and nasointestinal (NI) enteral feeding tubes. CORGRIP prevents unwanted displacement or removal of feeding tubes.
Tom Kuhn, President/COO for CORPAK said, “The CORGRIP System better meets customer needs for feeding tube securement in comparison to older techniques. CORGRIP has several innovative features including TRUE TORQUE TECHNOLOGY™ enabling articulation of the delivery catheter to aid in magnet connection and the SSL™ clamp design which allows easy positioning away from the nose and simple one hand securement with a Slot, Slide, and Lock motion.”
“In addition to the CORGRIP System’s innovative design, we also have the ability to supply this new device in a very convenient kit format for our many CORTRAK customers who highly value tube securement,” stated Frank J. McCaney, CEO of CORPAK.
CORPAK MedSystems will be presenting CORGRIP, as well as additional pioneering technologies, CORTRAK® and TubeClear®, at its demonstration booth during the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition in Denver, Colorado. CORPAK MedSystems will be located at AACN Booth 1541.
CORGRIP has been cleared for sale by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and is currently being evaluated by several customers.
