GEA builds milk powder plant for more than 70M EUR
GEA Group has received an order worth more than EUR 70 million from Fonterra in New Zealand. The order will be handled by the GEA Process Engineering Segment.

The new whole milk powder plant which only utilizes GEA process technology covers milk reception, standardization, evaporation, drying, powder transport and packaging. The spray dryer in the new plant will be the largest dairy spray dryer ever built with a capacity of 30 t per hour of whole milk powder equivalent to more than 4.4. million l per day of milk. The plant will be the seventh green-field plant that GEA has supplied in New Zealand over the past five years.
