IPT increases print speeds

A RANGE of thermal transfer printers that can be upgraded for future expansion and allows the end user to fit print heads and accessories has been introduced by Industrial Printer Technologies, of St Neots. The entry level Liberty 2 series, available in 203 or 300dpi resolution, features a Performance Expander Kit that increases printing speed up to 200mm/second. The Charlie series has as an internal winder for peeling off labels; can rewind the silicon-treated backing paper; and has a sensor which calibrates paper type and colour. The Golf and Delta printers boast a 200mm reel diameter capacity, with the Delta able to rewind the printed roll without an external rewinder. And the Echo series can print 150mm wide labels at 200mm/second in high volumes.
