Langen Launches The Compact S80 – New Stainless Steel Standardized Cartoner For Manuload Applications

Langen Packaging Inc (Langen) will be unveiling the Compact S80 at the PACex Canadian Packaging show. The Compact S80 is a horizontal cartoner rounding off Langen’s renowned B1 product line with features such as stainless steel construction, choice of intermittent or continuous motion and a variable speed range in a costcompetitive, standardized package.

The Compact S80 is a horizontal cartoner rounding off Langen’s renowned B1 product line with features such as stainless steel construction, choice of intermittent or continuous motion and a variable speed range in a costcompetitive, standardized package. The Compact S80, backed by Langen’s extensive experience, appeals to a wide range of customers with its flexibility to manage contract packaging requirements, re-runs, and peak production control. The Compact S80 features a variable speed range between 20 to 80 cartons per minute (120 cpm is attainable for small pitch applications), which is suitable for packaging applications where manual product loading is desired. The 15-minute changeover period and overall easy set-up is facilitated by a remote jog function and PLC control with statistical and diagnostic reporting.
