Nicholl Steps Up Expansion with More New Products
These latest introductions are a further development of Nicholl’s previously announced major diversification programme which has already seen the launch of a number of new lines to complement the company’s existing market leading range of over 800 aluminium foil trays.
1/26/2011 --- Food packaging specialist Nicholl Food Packaging is set to reveal details of further new product ranges at the easyFairs Packaging Innovations Show 2011, underlining the company’s commitment to provide a complete packaging solution for customers in a wide variety of food sectors.
Nicholl is currently finalising agreements for an additional three distributorships which will introduce new materials, shapes and containers to its product portfolio. This will enable the company to continue to meet the wide-ranging requirements of its customers in markets as diverse as fresh and frozen products, ready meals and convenience foods.
These latest introductions are a further development of Nicholl’s previously announced major diversification programme which has already seen the launch of a number of new lines to complement the company’s existing market leading range of over 800 aluminium foil trays.
Recent new products on show at Packaging Innovations will include Roots Biopack Sugarcane Fibre Trays which are manufactured from a renewable source (the by-product waste of sugar cane processes) and can be composted at home, and Oliver Pulp Trays, which combine sustainable benefits with several consumer convenience features. Also new from Nicholl Food Packaging is its unique SKINfoil tray, which combines the convenience of an oven or grill tray with the super extended shelf life of vacuum packaging, and innovative Dual Ovenable Board trays.
“Our new ranges give us the flexibility and diversity to meet the many different requirements of the food packaging sector,” comments Nicholl Food Group Chief Executive John Griffiths.
