03/04/06 SCHAUMBURG, IL -- Pliant Corporation announced an expansion of its production assets serving its Printed Flexible Packaging business in the United States and Canada. The additional assets include an eight-color flexographic printing press, a three-layer blown co-extrusion film line, two slitters, and a wicketed bag machine. Start-up of these assets is expected to begin in June 2006.
