The new Drive and Diagnostic Link (DDL) from Bosch Rexroth’s Pneumatics Div. makes it possible for pneumatics to be fully integrated across the overall control system on a packaging machine. The DDL checks every valve using criteria such as short circuit display, and it displays a clear text message. Rather than wait until there is a fault, the diagnostics check can be conducted as soon as the machine is turned on. It can be connected safely and swiftly into an existing PLC control system.
