The package utilizes a p-s tape reclosable feature that preserves freshness and flavor, prevents spillage, and is easy to zip. The customer tears a perforation along the top of the package to open, and pulls open the resealable flaps. Once open, the package is easier to reseal because there are no tracks to line up. The tape is comprised of a thermo-plastic substrate coated with an FDA-compliant, pressure-sensitive adhesive that is resistant to moisture and freezer safe. The bags combine consumer#s desire for functional resealability with manufacturer#s wishes for economical, value-added, high-speed, in-line resealability.
