SANDIACRE Packaging Machinery, of Nottingham, has complemented its range of intermittent and continuous motion v/f/f/s machines with the launch of the reciprocating motion TG350RC model. Initially for the salad and frozen food sectors, the machine handles pack widths ranging from 60-350mm, typically at outputs of 100x100g salad packs/minute into 200x300mm pillow packs; or 120x1kg of frozen product packs/minute into 300x400mm pillow packs. Reciprocating jaw motion is claimed to deliver features such as constant film speed, for better back and cross seals; consistent bag length; and reduced film strain. In addition, a performance log provides output information, and product recipe information can be gathered to create backup and data transfer for other machines.
