Sensoplast has acquired Forewood, a fiber-based closure and packaging company, to expand its product portfolio in the supplement, food, and cosmetic industries.
The closures developed by Forewood are made from wood and plant fibers. They offer stability and barrier protection, while the natural look of the material stands out aesthetically, says Sensoplast.
“By integrating Forewood technology, Sensoplast is providing its customers with direct access to nature-based packaging components,” says the company.
“The acquisition adds a building block for sustainable packaging concepts to the existing range. In addition to its established products, the acquisition also offers a wide range of customized development and adaptation options to meet specific customer requirements.”
