Südpack Presents Multipeel on Mono APET
The Südpack Packaging Group introduced Multipeel on Mono APET, the latest addition to the established Multipeel family, at this year's interpack trade show. This resealable packaging offers outstanding sealing properties, is easy to open and reclose, and extremely transparent with a brilliant shine.
Consumers benefit from an extremely tear-resistant and stable packaging that can be opened without aids and reliably resealed thanks to the extremely rigid material. As a result, the packaged food products, mostly sausage or cheese, can be easily stored and served in the packaging. At point of sale, the Multipeel innovation attracts attention with its unusual shine. A highly-transparent base film ensures a clear view of the product. Südpack prints the top film using flexographic and rotogravure printing processes, which allows for a wide range of printed images.
Less packaging material
The Multipeel on Mono APET packaging solution is extremely thin, which makes it ideal for manufacturers that support eco-sustainability. Packaging material can be reduced by up to 20 percent with Multipeel. This reduces weight, storage space and transport costs. Thinner material also supports efficient production because fewer roll changes are required. Despite the reduced amount of material, the packaging provides maximum product protection.
"Our Multipeel family has helped bring about a market breakthrough for resealable packaging," says Südpack Managing Partner Johannes Remmele. "Multipeel on Mono APET enhances our product portfolio. The packaging combines product protection, convenience and sustainability."
