Hubergroup Print Solutions is expanding its metal decoration ink system Tinkredible MGA to global markets. The mineral oil-free, bisphenol A-free, and PFAS-free ink series is designed for monobloc and three-piece metal cans.
Tinkredible MGA is said to combine “outstanding print quality, high process stability, and compliance with international food safety standards.” The solution will be showcased at Metpack 2026 in Essen, Germany, (May 5–8).
The low-migration ink series is designed to provide high durability and reliable performance in demanding production environments. The solution can be used for offset printing on metal cans in F&B and pet food packaging.
Jan Museler, product manager Metal Decoration at Hubergroup, says: “Tinkredible MGA is not a new development, but a proven ink system with a long-standing reputation for quality and reliability. With its global rollout, we are enabling printers and brand owners worldwide to achieve the highest standards of safety, performance, and design excellence.”
Advanced durability
Tinkredible MGA was engineered to meet the thermal, mechanical, and regulatory demands of modern food packaging. The solution is said to offer “high flexibility, low yellowing, and excellent resistance to heat and sterilization on coated and uncoated substrates.”
The ink system’s advanced chemical composition ensures its resistance to scratches, moisture, and external influences.
The ink series can be used for applications such as tuna cans, where shelf life, compliance, and uniform print quality are critical. Hubergroup aims to make this technology accessible to international customers.
The Tinkredible MGA range comprises process colors, opaque whites, metallics, and special colors, complemented by customized solutions through the hubergroup mixing system. The portfolio is said to enable printers and brand owners to develop distinctive, compliant metal packaging designs to meet production requirements and regulatory frameworks.
At Labelexpo Europe 2025, Hubergroup Print Solutions told Packaging Insights that the company is evaluating raw materials, such as photo initiators, to ensure safe and sustainable products that “stand out from the crowd due to smooth handling and high quality.”
