Zip-Pak to Introduce New Technologies and Packaging Formats that Enhance Consumer Convenience at Pack Expo
Zip-Pak will also highlight its new capabilities for large format, gusseted pre-made pouches that include ZIP-PAK Slider for added convenience.
24/08/06 At this year’s show, Zip-Pak will introduce a brand new packaging format featuring ZIP-PAK Slider technology built into the “fin” of the package, creating a wider opening for more convenient access to consumer products like trays of cookies and wet wipes. A Hayssen Packaging Technologies RT2000 high-speed horizontal form/fill/seal system will be running live in Zip-Pak’s booth to demonstrate the development of this innovative pouch format.
Zip-Pak will also highlight its new capabilities for large format, gusseted pre-made pouches that include ZIP-PAK Slider for added convenience. Totani Corporation’s CT-60HVLLLSC high-speed stand-up pouch making machine will be demonstrating this new format at Zip-Pak’s booth. Applications for this pouch format include pet food, cereals and personal care products.
In collaboration with Propac, Zip-Pak is featuring a new resealable packaging format for low density polyethylene (LDPE) film. This package enables club stores and brands packaging multi-serving portions of frozen foods to provide the value-added benefits of resealable technology. A reclosable pouch enables consumers to store unused products in the original packaging, keeping the brand name in front of the consumer for a longer period of time. Propac’s AV-90D will be running in the Zip-Pak booth.
