F&B launches in Latin America are on the rise, with consumers prioritizing food quality, functionality and packaging that offers long shelf life. From October 2019 to September 2024, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia led in the number of launches, while Chile experienced the fastest growth. Furthermore, F&B launches in the region increased by 2%. Flat pouches were the most popular packaging choice for new product development, and recyclable packaging remained the top environmental claim for launches in Latin America.
