Innova Market Insights data indicates that global F&B launches using fabric packaging increased by 5% from April 2019 to March 2024. Forty-one percent of fabric material launches were in the Fruit and Vegetables category. There was also significant growth in Meat, Fish and Eggs packaged in fabric. Nearly half of the new product developments in fabric packaging were in Mesh Bags, with Recyclable as the predominant environmental claim.
