Crown Prince Seafood Releases a New Line of Easy-Open Sardine Pouches

Oct 18 2011 --- Crown Prince Seafood proudly announces a new line of pouch-packed sardines to be carried in Wal-Mart nationwide, beginning in late October 2011. The pouches are currently carried regionally in Kroger - Dallas, Dillons - Kansas City, King Soopers - Denver and City Markets - Colorado.

Packed in eco-friendly, easy-to-open pouches, the sardines will be available in four different varieties, all of which have been popular in Crown Prince Seafood’s line of quality canned seafood:

Lightly Smoked – in Soy Bean Oil
No Salt Added – in Spring Water
Spicy – in Louisiana Hot Sauce
Traditional – in Mustard

Each pouch of Crown Prince sardines offers 0.93 grams of heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids per serving. According to Mayo Clinic, twice-weekly servings of fish high in omega-3s can help “decrease triglycerides, lower blood pressure, reduce blood clotting, boost immunity and improve arthritis symptoms, and in children may improve learning ability,” as well as reduce the risk of heart disease-related death by a third.
