Eco-Products brings reusable and compostable packaging to the UK

Eco-Products has launched its portfolio of reusable, recyclable, and compostable packaging in the UK. The solutions are set to be available through UK-based Vegware, a sister company.
The company has been building a customer base across the EU with a growing portfolio of compostable, recyclable, and reusable packaging. The Eco-Products UK portfolio now offers reusables, including the new Veda, which are durable products designed for closed-loop reuse systems.
The portfolio also includes recyclable products, such as cups for hot and cold beverages, compatible with UK recycling streams and packaging designed for industrial composting.
Wendell Simonson, general manager at Eco-Products, says: “We’re excited to officially launch Eco-Products in the UK. As in the US, demand continues to grow for products and services designed to help the foodservice industry meet its sustainability goals. Working closely with the Vegware team to support customers in their home market is something we’re really looking forward to.”
Reusable alternatives for foodservice
Eco-Products aims to provide UK operators with “practical, high-impact solutions for managing packaging responsibly across every service model, from on-the-go to dine-in.”
Helen Mathieson, managing director at Vegware, says: “We’re seeing strong customer interest in reusable and recyclable options alongside compostables. Partnering with Eco-Products allows us to offer proven designs, reliable performance, and a joined-up approach to packaging that fits the realities of today's foodservice operations.”
In the US, Eco-Products became the Official Zero Waste Partner of the San Francisco Giants, a baseball team based in California. The collaboration brings Eco-Products’ compostable products to Oracle Park, the home of the baseball team, to support San Francisco Giants’ environmental efforts.
Last year, Eco-Products also partnered with DNO Produce to introduce a compostable cup and lip designed for school nutrition programs in the US.
