Consumers who are out to meet Estar Leve from the Wickbold line do not encounter an issue, but a retelling of the old light line. The name change occurred to tailor products to the new regulations by ANVISA (National Health Surveillance Agency), the government agency that establishes rules on the information provided on the packaging of processed foods, which entered into force in January.
The Estar Leve line is composed of Forma bread (lightweight and low calorie), Yoghurt with carrot (whole, nutrient-rich and slightly sweet), Bread (full, rich in fiber and carbohydrates), Flaxseed (wholegrain source of omega 3 and 6, high in fiber and minerals), 10 grain (made with whole wheat flour, rye, oats, soybeans, flaxseed, sesame, quinoa, barley, malt flour and sunflower seed) and Oats (wholegrain, rich in fiber and vitamins).
Ideal for those seeking healthy, light, tasty and low-calorie foods, this line is recommended for people who want quality of life, but do not give up flavor.
The main characteristics of products Estar Leve are:
- Low sugar content: breads have added sugars during its preparation. Therefore, the sugars found in this table of nutritional composition are those naturally present in their raw materials;
- Low in fat: solid fats or oils are not added in any of the product line, which enables the production of bread with low fat;
- Zero trans fats: very positive feature, because the habitual and excessive consumption of this type of fat may bring more risks to the body than saturated fat itself;
- Source of fiber (except the Forma bread): the addition of whole wheat flour and / or wheat ingredients like fiber and oatmeal helps to increase the amount of fiber products. The fibers are nutrients that help in the proper functioning of the intestines and in controlling cholesterol and blood glucose (blood sugar in the blood), and increase the feeling of satiety, which favors a balanced diet.
