IPE, Innovaciones Para Etiquetajes, Was Awarded At The Latest Edition Of The "World Label Awards"
02 May 2014 --- IPE, Innovaciones Para Etiquetajes, a pioneer company in the manufacture of quality self-adhesive labels, sleeves and other packaging materials, received an Honourable Mention in the latest edition of the "World Label Awards".
"World Label Awards" are the awards granted by the global associations of label manufacturers that recognise technological development and innovation in the sector. The jury was made up of members of the different world associations, FINAT (Europe), JFLP (Japan), LATMA (Australia), ABIEA (Brazil), SALMA (New Zeeland) and TLMI (USA).
The label developed for Bodegas Planas Albareda, was also recognised in the latest edition of the FINAT'2013 awards, the World-wide association for manufacturers of self-adhesive labels. The label awarded was noted for its quality in the details as this label has effects and combinations of a certain complexity regarding the material chosen for the printing and the stamping applied. A hot stamping and printing in one-go which allows creating a high quality label that faithfully represents the combination between a modern style and the traditional image of the cava brand.
According to Francesc Egea- Assistant Director of IPE-"We work on each project with much detail, applying the latest technological developments and searching for the best combination of materials, inks, finishes, etc., for each label. Therefore, these acknowledgements make us feel proud and drive us to continue committed to technological innovation and investment, which enables us to search new ways to permanently improve.
For IPE, innovation and providing added value to its customers has always been one of the company's main aims. One example of this is the recent investment the company has made in new machinery which allows applying different finishes to a same label, offset, flexography, stamping, micro stamping, embossing or laminates.
"We can currently say that there are no limits to communicate and differentiate a product through its label. The value of the label's design and/or of the functionality are currently very important as its is an element that has a direct impact on the perception that the consumer is going to have on the product, and each and every detail counts. The label must be capable of communicating and transmitting all the brand's singularities, that is why we focus our efforts in communicating what options are available or can be developed in labels" added Francesc Egea.

With a career that has allowed the company to be currently recognised as a reference in the sector of graphic arts both at a national and international level, the honourable mention received at the "World Label Awards" is added to the list of prizes that IPE Innovaciones Para Etiquetajes, S.L has received throughout its more than fifty years of history, outstanding among which are several FINAT awards and the awards from the by Association of Printing Industries of Catalonia.
