Through the acquisition of 60% of GHS Separationstechnik in July, Krones gained access to decanter centrifuges, a key product that includes associated process technology for solid-liquid separation.
These machines can be used for the processing of PET recycling, as well as vegetable oils, juices, and other food products.
GHS Separationstechnik is based in Landshut, Germany, employs 25 people as full-time staff, and generated a revenue of approximately €10 million (US$11.8 million) in 2024.
This month, Krones acquired all shares of CSW, which manufactures and supplies specialized machinery and equipment for handling can ends. Based in Deventer, the Netherlands, CSW serves international customers in the beer, beverage, and food industries.
CSW is staffed by 35 full-time employees and the company generated a revenue of around €20 million (US$23.6 million) in 2024.
Krones says that CSW will continue to operate as an independent entity, maintaining its established level of customer service and product quality.
