Pioneering the use of the code builds on Nestlé Czech, the largest domestic manufacturer of confectionery. For contribution to the development of automatic identification and data capture Nestlé Czech received on 20 September 2013 ceremonial plaque from GS1 Czech Republic.
Barcode with the prefix 859, designated for the former Czechoslovakia, and since the beginning of the 80th years stood out on chocolate brand ORION, which had greatly helped the overall modernization of production and allow the export markets like the UK, where putting a barcode was a prerequisite for inclusion in the range of shops.
