Launched earlier this year, KP Snackers are a delicious snack and nut mix with a combination of jumbo peanuts, Hula Hoops, mini tortillas and crunchy tortilla corn strips. The success of the 160g bag led KP to seek a larger size sharing pack which also offered the convenience of resealing.
The 1550ml UniPak pot from RPC, injection moulded in polypropylene, offers a large, easy to access tub. A tamper-evident tab on the pot provides effective tamper-evidence for product safety while the tight snap-on lid ensures that the product remains fresh between servings and avoids any food waste. In addition the tub is fully recyclable and can also be re-used, delivering valuable sustainability benefits.
The packs are produced in an eye-catching yellow with a large decoration area for the attractive colour co-ordinated post-mould labels which, along with in-mould labelled lids, distinguish the different flavours in the range – salted, cheese, salt and vinegar, and spicy. This creates an eye-catching display to maximise brand awareness and on-shelf appeal.
"After the successful launch of KP Snackers, we wanted to offer consumers a larger, sharing pack,” explains a spokesperson from KP Snacks. "It was essential that the pack provided maximum convenience, particularly in terms of being easy to open and re-close effectively, as well as looking good on-shelf. RPC has delivered an attractive solution that does just that.”
