Drinktec 2025: Sidel to debut laser packaging technology

At Drinktec 2025 in Munich, Germany, Sidel will launch new laser technology for blowing, production line innovations for cans, PET, and glass packaging, and aseptic technology developments.

At the event, September 15–19, Sidel will spotlight developments, from lightweighting to fully recycled PET, partial labels, and returnable complete lines.

According to Sidel, its new laser technology for blowing is a “world first” for the packaging industry, enabling efficiency, sustainability, quality, and simplicity. 

Digital advancements

Sidel will present developments in aseptic technology, showcasing how digital intelligence can achieve higher levels of food safety. 

Cassani continues: “This is a key shift in the industry, with our laser innovation unlocking new possibilities. It is a time to harness our extensive knowledge to overcome the most critical challenges today.”

Sidel will also unveil its new Next Line concept for PET and recycled PET, as well as innovations in the company’s can and glass lines. 

Recently, Sidel equipped German winery, Hauser Weinimport, with its Aseptic Combi Predis line and Grupo Gepp, PepsiCo’s exclusive bottler in Mexico, with expanded returnable PET and glass bottling lines.
