Paris Packaging Week 2026: Silgan expands airless and refill-ready dispensing portfolio
Key takeaways
- Silgan Dispensing integrates ERA caps into its DNA airless pump range at Paris Packaging Week 2026.
- DNA 35ERA solution targets EU PPWR requirements through dosing precision and recyclability.
- Aspire Chroma fragrance pumps debut with refill-ready and customization features.

Silgan Dispensing is showcasing the integration of its ERA dispensing caps and closures collection into its DNA airless pump range for cosmetics at Paris Packaging Week 2026 (February 5–6). The company is also debuting Aspire Chroma, a new collection of customizable plastic fragrance pumps.
The new DNA 35ERA solution is designed to support EU PPWR requirements by combining precise dosing, formula protection, and recyclability within polyolefin streams.
Silgan launched its ERA dispensing range of caps last year, designed to deliver precise dosing of cosmetic formulas by controlling how a product is released from a pack, including flow rate and cut-off.
Its DNA technology is an airless dispensing system that aims to protect sensitive formulations from contamination. Airless systems prevent air from entering containers by dispensing the product via a piston or diaphragm.

“Silgan Dispensing reaffirms its commitment to cosmetic packaging that combines functional excellence with environmental responsibility,” says the company. “The group continues to develop high-end dispensing systems that protect formulas, enhance consumer experience, and enable large-scale recyclability.”
The DNA 35ERA bottle is available in 30 mL, 40 mL, and 50 mL formats.
According to Silgan, the ERA airless design ensures a formula evacuation rate above 95%, helping limit product waste and reduce overall packaging waste. The combined technology has applications in personal care, beauty, and pharma-style products, helping to protect formulas and enable “large-scale” recyclability.
Small packaging design
Another innovation in the ERA portfolio at Paris Packaging Week 2026 involves adapting dispensing caps to fit small-capacity cosmetic tubes with 25 mm and 30 mm diameters. It has applications in liquid makeup and targeted treatments such as eye contour applications.
Silgan’s ERA range also integrates its patented LifeCycle technology, which replaces metal springs with plastic equivalents to aid recyclability.
Cap and closure customization
At Paris Packaging Week 2026, Silgan Dispensing is also unveiling the Aspire Chroma customizable fragrance pump, which features multiple colour options and refill-ready Pirouette technology.
Silgan’s Pirouette technology allows a fragrance pump to be twisted off and separated from the bottle without tools.
Sandy Gregory, global marketing director for Fragrance at Silgan Dispensing, says: “Our in-house molding capabilities enable excellent lead times, responsive service, and design agility.”
“Aspire Chroma empowers brands to express themselves visually without compromising on sustainability or performance.”
Recently, Packaging Insights spoke to personal care manufacturers Quadpack, Texen, and Coverpla about their latest product launches and expectations for this year’s Paris Packaging Week, amid tightening packaging regulations and consumer demand for reusable and refillable options.
“Paris Packaging Week is now one of the most important events in our calendar. With many beauty brands headquartered in France, its Paris location is very convenient, and visitors are always of the highest calibre,” said Pierre-Antoine Henry, senior director marketing for Innovation and Strategic Development, at Texen and Quadpack.
