Wipak: R&D solutions for reducing plastics in packaging

The inclusion of paper is a key solution, exemplified by Wipaks Skinbottom carton. The transformation of certain plastic materials to become recyclable is also a large R&D task, but Wipak exhibits how they achieved this with its Thermoforming films without any polyomite.
Wipak: Driving interactive packaging with invisible barcodes
04 Oct 2018 --- Wipak was launching its newest addition to the smart, connected packaging market: Digimac coding technology at FachPack 2018. The technology is said to enhance packaging in a new way, by integrating an invisible code into packaging design which makes more information available to the consumer, as well as being used within retail as “the barcode of the future,” according to Maik Dworczyk, Manager of the Creative team at Wipak.
