The Schreiner Group has begun operating a new printing machine that combines flexographic and digital printing in a single system.
The FlexoHybrid 1.200 dpi offers small print runs and industrial mass production. The machine boasts a high print resolution, short setup times, and resource-saving operations.
Lars Spitz, head of the Flexographic Printing Segment Flexodruck at Schreiner Group, says: “To secure our leading market position and to continue offering our customers maximum quality and flexibility, it was time for a technology leap.”
According to Schreiner Group, the printer combines personalization with high industrial performance capacity.
Printing flexibility
The machine can be operated at various locations. Schreiner Group says that this provides “additional flexibility and scalability” for users. With the investment, Schreiner Group emphasizes agile, digital, and sustainable production.
In recent developments, Schreiner Group’s pharmaceutical packaging business unit, Schreiner MediPharm, presented its blister-free packaging solution at Pharmapack Europe 2025. Additionally, it unveiled the Smart Syringe Box, which tracks syringes used in clinical trials.
The Germany-based company, in partnership with US software company Bluesight, developed RFID labels to optimize digital inventory control in hospital pharmacies.
