Campari Group has unveiled a new design for its Aperol bottle. The bottle is created with contemporary Italian design, aiming to establish a balance between modernity and heritage.
The new bottle features a ripped textured design around the shoulder, providing a glimpse of the orange liquid inside.
The front label is printed in Aperol’s signature colors, with a smaller and more refined design. On the back, a transparent label gives a straightforward guide for preparing an Aperol Spritz.
“Inspired by the balance and elegance of Italian architecture, the new Aperol bottle feels sophisticated yet familiar, designed to sit proudly on any bar cart, table, or terrace,” says the company.
The new design also features an embossed monogram on the glass, honoring the Barbieri brothers, who first created Aperol in 1919. The detail serves as a subtle tribute to the brand’s heritage and craftsmanship, according to the company.
Rising on-the-go demands
Alcohol brands are increasingly improving their product packaging to make it stand out on the shelf while appealing to customers’ preferences.
This year, Butter Wines by JaM Cellars launched ButterLight Chardonnay in a convenient, on-the-go format. The shift toward more user-friendly packaging formats is supported by a recent study, which suggested that aluminum can be a suitable material alternative to glass for wine packaging.
Last month, Innova Market Insights pegged “Health-Forward Convenience” as one of its Top Packaging Trends for 2026.
Convenient packaging is being driven by the demand for on-the-go solutions. Smaller, portable packaging, especially in liquid formats, is increasing in popularity.
