Applied Adhesives has announced an exclusive US distribution partnership with Henkel’s Packaging Adhesives business. Applied Adhesives aims to strengthen its presence in the flexible packaging market and provide converters across the US with access to Henkel’s adhesive and coating technologies.
The partnership will bring together Henkel’s product portfolio and industry expertise with Applied Adhesives’ national sales organization, technical service, and logistics network.

Strengthening technical support
Henkel’s Packaging Adhesives business delivers a portfolio of adhesive and coating solutions developed to support premium performance, regulatory compliance, and evolving sustainability needs.

According to the companies, the partnership will initially center on flexible packaging converters across F&B, health and beauty, as well as pet product applications.
Henkel’s innovations
Earlier this year, Henkel introduced tinplate can packaging for adhesive solutions made in collaboration with the German tinplate manufacturer Thyssenkrupp Rasselstein and Pirlo, an Austrian metal packaging producer.
Last year, Henkel Adhesive Technologies launched Loctite Liofol LA 7837/LA 6265, a solvent-free adhesive system for flexible applications, such as pet food packaging. The company also introduced the Loctite Liofol HS 2819 RE heat-seal coating that is recyclable and meets US Food and Drug Administration and European food packaging safety standards.
Meanwhile, Henkel Adhesive Technologies equipped Ravenwood Packaging, a linerless label technology, with its hotmelt pressure-sensitive adhesives for Ravenwood’s linerless labeling system.
